Hi Folks, New Audi owner here...Black edition A6 Avant C7. Over the moon bar one or 2 issues...one being related to maps! Please help? I've scoured the internet for information and have some but i am a typical over thinker and as such, require confirmation and help on things before jumping in two-footed 😐 My physical location is well far off my GPS location. I am in Birmingham for example (UK) and the GPS thinks i am in Scotland. After reading around, i understand there is a water ingress issue with the shark fin arials on the C7's potentially..I want to ensure it's not just software before going down faulty hardware route - i need to establish this ASAP so that if it is hardware, i can take back to the dealer (which is a considerable distance from me, so i'd like to be sure). My question - How do i update maps myself? Local audi dealer has been useless... I can't even get in to talk to them. I have requested an audi connect code (another issue i've got as cannpot get connect services to work correctly) from them as i don't have the original one and it's hurdle after hurdle. Map updates too seem extortinate and would rather self-install in case that isn't the problem at all... My current MMI version is: MHI2_ER_AU57x_S2519_1 ..... I BELIEVE i need to update to MHI2_ER_AU57x_K3663 ....... I have found a few places online to download the files but i don't particularly trust them and want to be sure i get the correct version (i have read it differs depending on sound system and subtle changes to software code may need changing - I have Bose sound and if i'm reading in the correct places this means the update software is slightly different - can anyone confirm?)....So sorry for dragging this out, i guess my question is can anyone please advise on a suitable location to obtain the correct update files (other than audi) so i can investigate software vs hardware fault? Hi community, I have recently had my turbo changed by a mechanic, after this change the ignition does not function as it once did, normally the ignition used to be a kind of trip switch, so it just needed a quick millisecond turn and the engine was turned on, Now I have to hold the key on until the engine turns on. My question is... What can he have done that would make this happen? he says that he never touched anything of the ignition or electrics! Car specs.. A6 2010 C6 120 kw 163 hp Estate(Avante) left hand drive. in Belgium Thnx in advance of any answers.

I've got an Audi A6 C7 2015 facelist model. Ive seen YouTube videos that you can install a firestick. After buying all the parts and getting an aux connection as I don't have the Audi connection under the armrest. See picture for the items I've bought for the HD firestick. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get the firestick to work. I've got a WiFi hot-spot in the car, just need to know how to get the device to work on the screen. Hi, Does anyone know how this guy was able to install the sweeping indicators on these tail lights. These are the same tail lights as my 2013 Audi A6.

Does anyone else here some to have problems getting their windscreen demister working? :P I have to sit with a clothe and wipe it myself every 5 seconds! It is brutal lol. :P

Hi guys i got over the last problem apparantly it was sumin in the ecu it cost me £400 had nothing to do with the tyres. Audi contributed £18 for the part which was pathetic theyhad the car for 3 days hence the £400. I cant believe im gettin more problems already. The car is an s line 2.0 automatic on a 12 plate! Ive lost the reverse gear?!! It takes forever to move backwards but eventually it does at about 5000 revs so literally flys backwards . Has anyone ever experienced this i cant see much about it online?? Any help appreciated thanks guys. It said on the dash that the gearbox was overheating but we hadnt used the car

Hi All, I am new to this forum and was hoping people can help me out. Unfortunately i am not able to find a reasonable mechanic for Audi in my area. Does anyone know or can recommend somone in the south east area that i can trust in diagnosing my car and not adding any non needed work. The issue i am having with my car is...when i came home from work today and switched the car off the fan stayed on and would no go off. I got worried as i have not had the car long. So i switched it back on and fan went off and i switched the car off and the fan stayed off but if i leave running for more than a minute and then switch it off the fan stays in. Your assistance would be much appreciated. Sorry for the essay!

Hi, new to the club, had my new Audi 3 months, had the choice of a black edition 2.0 ultra or A6 3.0 tdi quattro se, went for the hardware! ,as not much of a fan of big alloys to be honest(seem to get a mark on em no matter what and the se's ride was way better,getting old,lol),fantastic car,the combination of tiptronic, engine, and quattro make it feel very special to me.Build quality is fantastic, overall,very happy.
