Audi S3 2019 Sportback 5Dr (Stock) 40k miles. Hi all, have been having this issue with my car for a few months now. Seems to hesitate when flooring it at 2,800/3000 rpm + and when in 3rd gear onwards. Initially thought Spark plugs may do the trick. This was recently changed - and on the same day my brother in law had connected his diagnostic kit - it came up with a fault code re o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2.. he had cleared that for the time being and taking it to two garages (including 1 VW/Audi Specialist), we haven’t been able to replicate the fault code and the specialist couldn’t insist more that it’s not the o2 sensor and that could have flagged up even from a bad batch of fuel. They recommended I take it somewhere with a dyno system which may help to identify the issue? I’m so lost as to where to go from here. My brother in law who are somewhat better clued up on mechanics than me are now suggesting changing the coil pack. Last full service was March 2022. Minor service 2023. Both from main dealer. We do do ALOT of miles. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance IMG_9283.MOV

1. More Easily Changing Wheels Changing wheels on your own is never easy work for European cars (BMW, Audi, VW, Porsche…). When removing and installing wheels that utilize the factory wheel bolts the process can be frustrating, holding the wheel up with your legs, lining up the holes, and threading the bolts all at the same time. What’s worse, on a rainy day, at the high-speed roadside or other harsh environments, it is hard to align the holes, can easily get mad when trying again and again, but fail again and again. Compared with the Japanese cars (Honda, Toyota…), the studs are mounted in the hub and stuck out beyond the brake rotor hat. The wheels are mounted using lug nuts, which are screwed onto the studs. This makes it easier to disassemble and assemble wheels without having to worry about lining everything up. By using the wheel studs conversion, you can make the European cars (BMW, Audi, VW, Porsche…) “transform” into the form of the Japanese cars (Honda, Toyota…), so it is called “conversion”. 2. For Wheel Spacers Needs For some situations, such as widening the wheelbase, or changing to a larger brake caliper, if the rotor hat cannot pass the brake caliper, the wheels won’t be fastened tightly, which cause an accident. In such a case, wheel spacers must be added. By correcting the offset, truly guarantee safety. After installing wheel spacers, the factory wheel bolts will not be long enough, reducing the number of laps for threading. In the case of intense driving, it will cause kinds of security issues. Meanwhile, the length of the stud conversion can be customized flexibly, which makes it possible to install different offset aftermarket wheels. 3. The Aggressive Appearance By installing a stud conversion kit, you can use wheel lug nuts. On the market, there is numerous lug nuts style, some of them are really pretty and cool. How to install them on your BMW, Audi, VW, or Porsche? The studs conversion will do the job perfectly. Besides, the nuts can be replaced more flexibly, such as wheel lock nuts, lightweight and high-strength nuts. These lug nuts make your car look more manly and aggressive. audi s3 sportsback Juts ordered 2017 Audi S3 :-D
FrazerDoe posted a topic in New Members Introductions
Hi Guys, I placed my order for the facelift Audi S3 Sportsback over the weekend and mega excited to say the least. I have taken a long time making my decision but I am confident I made the right choice, other contenders were the M135i and Golf R and CLA45 (however this was always a bit more that I wanted to spend) I test drove the current model S3 over the weekend and I cannot wait to get my hands on mine which should be around the middle of November, especially as the performance, sound and cockpit will all be enhanced. Keen to speak with all S3 owners to get tips and experiences. As extras I have gone with the 7 Speed DCT, Virtual cockpit and Navarra blue colour (Keen to see what this looks like in the flesh as I don't think the configurator images does it justice). Look forward to hearing from you. Frazer :)
