Hi Just bought an audi a5 2012 sports back. Phone connects for phone calls via Bluetooth... Great job. But I'm absolutely blown away that I can't get any music to play. For a brand like audi and the spec I got I'm actually blown away. It's a simple thing.. Even back in 2012. There's not even a aux port. Any advice? I have that odd connection in the glove box.

Hi Everyone I've just bought a second had Audi A4 (2011) which I love so far. Only problem is with the AUX connection in the center arm rest. The plastic surround has broken away so I'm just left with a loose wire with a jack on the end. Does anyone know what the proper name is for the plastic surround and where i could get a replacemet? Thanks in advance Ross

Hi all, New to this forum, and to Audi! Pick up my 2000 S6 4.2 on Friday. It's an old girl to start with but have to start somewhere. The very first thing I want to do, is fit an auxiliary input to the stereo. Perhaps should do more mechanical things but I love music. Has anybody any experience on this or any advice they could give at all. Is it even possible?? Once I begin I'll keep details on here posted and photos along the way too. Although I haven't picked up the car yet I have a photo of the system from the car advert. See attached image. Cheers! Dan

Have acquired an RCD310 radio with Bluetooth from a 2011 Golf. Looking to replace my Audi Symphony factory unit. Has anyone had any success or knowledge in fitting one into an A4 B6?

Hello, I own an audi a3 2006 with a double din concert radio system (i have no aux, blue tooth or cd changer), it seems that there's an adapter for other concert radios but every one i find online either has different newer iso blocks or a different wiring set-up. Is there an adapter out there that i can use on this wiring set-up or do i have to spend an arm and a leg on a new radio system.

Hi, I have an A3 1.6 technik SE 2010 model, can anyone point me in the direction or advise me on my options to use my iPhone for audio and phone calls? There is an aux plug socket in the middle of the two seats but not sure if I need a special adaptor?

As a newbie on here, I was hoping that somebody would be able to answer a few of the more simple (hopefully) questions I have about my new car. I recently bought a 2006 Audi A6 2.0 TDI S Line and I am chuffed to bits with it. That being said, I do have a few niggles which I am hope folks on here will be able to answer for me. Firstly, I can see that there is a button on the centre console which says "TEL". I thought this would mean I could easily connect my phone via bluetooth and use hands free whilst driving - this seems to not be the case. I am constantly told that the service is "unavailable" but is does seem that the infrastructure is there, I just can't seem to suss it out. Can someone please tell me what I need to do, or what I need to buy in order to unlock this feature. Next is an aux in port. I cannot seem to find one so assume that this is not a feature on this car - but can it be? Is there a way of taking out the stereo and wiring one in the back - I have searched on this forum but cannot find anything definitive. Finally, the sat nav. I am not particularly techy but I feel I do have a fairly decent grasp on computers etc but I'll be damned if I can figure out how the sat nav works. The sat nav I have is the old style red screen type (I have attached a picture of a similar one I have found online) - I cannot seem to enter full postcodes - can anyone provide a link or user tutorial that might help? Finally, on the subject of the sat nav, I would love a colour screen to replace the dated looking one I currently have. Is this an easy swap? If so, can someone please provide details. I am hoping that you'll all look at this and say "what an idiot, here are the answers" as opposed to "tough luck mate, there's nothing you can do about these". Thanks in advance

I have a 2010 Audi A3 S-Line with the Audi Concert II+ 2-DIN head unit recently installed to replace the old head unit of the same model and the standard fitted AUX input near the cigarette lighter. (See attached images) It doesn't seem to me like the AUX input is working. I'm not sure if there is a cryptic way to change source, if so what would this be? With it being a standard fitted AUX input I would have assumed this would be pre-wired into the wire cluster therefore would just be plug and play? If anyone could shed any light on this that would be helpful. Cheers! :)
