Hi everyone. My 1997 Audi A8 D2 has never been equipped with a phone. Recently I got an Audi phone and beautifully installed it in my car not being aware that the phone works with the Bluetooth MMI module of cars like 2006 A4,6,8, etc. However, I am still looking for some ways to make it work as a separate GSM phone as it has the SIM slot and logically can work independently. I installed a cradle with a charger. However, the phone when starting it is looking for the Bluetooth base station, fails to find and that is it. Other options of Bluetooth other devices and many telephone options are faded, although the faded options show SIM card and many other usual cellular phone option. Several times it found other Bluetooth devices in my car but could not connect. So, I am left with questions and need your help: 1. How is it possible to make the phone forget the base station on Bluetooth and connect to other devices? Ideal option. 2. If 1 is not possible, how to stop automatic start of Bluetooth search? Mediocre option 3. What additional device from Audi electronics do I need to get the phone work? Costly option.

Hi How would i watch youtube and tv via my mmi system through carplay off my iphone 12 i have an 2018 A3. I have seen some stuff on troll store but the app doesnt work on iOS 16+ There are youtube videos but nothing decent to show how to do it. thanks

I saw a device which is Wireless Android Auto & CarPlay 2 in 1 Adapter. I got a 18 A5 hatchback, I wanted to try a device that does both CarPlay and Android Auto as my wife has an iPhone. Anyone tried this before and how is it? Hey everyone! I’m excited to join the Audi squad and am collecting my used A3 S Line Black Edition 1.4 TFSI a week on Monday. As with anyone buying a car, I’m currently obsessed with any little upgrades I can make but am someone who definitely likes the factory look as opposed to aftermarket. Therefore two quick questions! Has anyone painted their brake calipers or got caliper covers? I’m getting the car in Daytona Grey and think a little bit of colour will look great but want it to look as factory as possible. Also I’m really not handy even if it is the case of just removing a wheel for covers. Finally my car is a 66 plate and is the facelift 8V but am not sure whether it comes with CarPlay or not? Hi, newbie here. I have a 2011 TT 2.0 TFSI but would like to be able to fit a DAB radio with Bluetooth for my phone (CarPlay if possible). anyone done this or have good recommendations. thank you.

Hi guys, Just got a 67 reg Q5 FY model, but seems the Apple CarPlay keeps disconnecting and the screen "No supported device found" keeps popping up. It redirects me to the connection manage page but I'm not sure there is any CarPlay related config there I'm using an iPhone XR with iOS 12.1.3. Has anyone else experience the same issue? Also, does Q5 has wireless CarPlay? YouTube seems to suggest I just need to pair with bluetooth and the wireless CarPlay option should automatically pop up - not the case here... Any help is deeply appreciated! Cheers
