Hi All, Has anyone had the following fault code before? 18112/P1704 (Relates to kickdown switch) Any further advise/experience to repair the fault would be appreciated. Car drives great as normal, however engine management light is on. A4 B9 3.0 V6 TDI Quattro (Auto)

got ' gearbox malfunction can continue to drive' pop up on my dash, took my car for a diagnostics at audi they couldnt find anything wrong with the car, took it to an independant diagnostics and it came up with 3 codes... sensor for transmission speed 2.... pressure regulator valve clogged/dirty.... clutch activation implausible. spoke to numerous places and they dont seem to know what the problem is. My guess is that theres something wrong on the ECU? if so can i get it repaired or will it be a new ECU? Any help at all please!

Hello everyone, Can anyone help me with this area in which I am very inexperienced? I am a complete newbie and have just begun to sort out with Ross-Tech help some problems with my 2006/7 A4 2.0 Avant TDi Diesel Auto. I have had an EGR delete installed and a re-mapped ECU to suit a year or so ago. Apart from that no other modifications. I now live in France and recently I had a MAF sensor fault so I replaced the sensor and all seemed well at first after a French garage reinstated the default settings and I have had a series of loss of power events plus much smoke from the exhaust varying from black to white. I had the car off the road for months, wrecked the battery and replaced it with a new one I bought and used the latest Ross-Tec VCDS Hex V2 cable connection and ran the tests with the latest Ross-Tech software. I was advised to re-test after deleting all the error codes many of which related to poor electrical voltage or inability to communicate. I did delete the codes and ran a new sequence of tests which gave apparent good results. However I have still not licked the problem and I suspect that the EGR delete has not been re-mapped but I don't know how to check that. Can any of you wizards suggest a solution? Hi my A3 1.8 turbo has engine warning light on and the esp light the only engine code i have got off of it so far is this one "16487 air flow sensor (g70) signal to high p0103" There is another about water temp sensor but will have to get the code again as i forgot to I have changed a wheel speed sensor which afrer a few day the light went off but then came back on a few days later. If anyone knows what that code actually refers to and what sort of cost i am looking at i would much appreciate it.
