Hi All Hope you can help. Just got myself a SQ7. Having heard the existing exhaust sound I must say I am really impressed, but being me, I feel I need something which sounds a bit more Umph!! I've managed to get prices from Milltek etc for the region of £400-500 for a new module, but before doing this wanted to know if you have found a way of improving or 'turning the volume up' so to speak without having to spend a fortune. Hi guys, I purchased a 1.4 tfsi 2015 A1 a few weeks ago, and on test driving I noticed that after a drive both at idle and when the engine is off, there is a metallic ticking noise. It does stop when I turn the engine off, takes minutes or so. I did ask the dealer to check but they said its fine, and explained it was something to do with combustion or compression or something. It is the same sound you hear when an exhaust is hot, and ticks when It cools down. But it does it even after a Short drive and every single time I drive it. Just wondering if anybody has similar noises or any idea as it does make me a little worried. Thank You.

Hey guys, I just got a 2011 A1 and looking to do some modding to it. My first mod is wanting to change it to quad exhaust like the S1. I know I have to change the diffuser as well, but my question is do I have to change the bumper too? Or can I keep the original A1 bumper, and just change the exhaust + diffuser. Or are there any other requirements or specification to do this conversion that I need to know? Thanks a lot!

Hi all, just wonderin if this is the correct de-cat down pipe for a 1.9tdi 115bhp (2008)? https://m.ebay.ie/itm/Downpipe-Decat-Stainless-Steel-AUDI-A4-1-9-2-0-tdi-PD-DPF-B7-FWD-QUATTRO-05-08-/201891249446 I wasn't aware there was any sensors fixed to the downpipe on these but then again I'm a new owner. Any help appreciated thanks

Hi, just joined the group and looking forward to getting involved, my first question: I'm looking to buy a 2014/5 A4 Avant 2.0d Black Edition Auto (think I've found the car!) and having ever so slight OCDish I like things symmetrical (I could not buy an Alfa, that number plate!!) So the one (twin) exhaust outlet haunts me!! 😱 I've done some research and have found a conversion to 2 outlets RS4 in style. Wondered if anyone has any knowledge of these conversions I'm sure it will fix my OCD nightmare but will it make a noise difference? are there other benefits or negatives on the conversion? Thank you for viewing my advert. I am selling my Full Remus Non Resonated Cat Back Exhaust System. This was originally fitted to a 2013 Audi S4 (V6) saloon as a demonstration at a car show and had covered around 50 miles. I then purchased from the original buyer for my car. I drive a van as a daily so on my Audi this has covered a maximum of 50 miles. The exhaust is absolutely immaculate and is pretty much BRAND NEW; like I say its only covered a maximum of 100 miles. Reason for sale is that my Mrs will be using the car as a daily soon and so wants the OEM put back on. This exhaust fits the following Audi S4 & S5 cars (as also shown in photos):- Audi S4 B8 Quattro Saloon & Avant (3.0 TFSI V6) 2010=> Audi S5 Quattro Coupe, Typ 8T (4.2 FSI V8) 2007=> Audi S5 Quattro Coupe, Typ 8T 2011=> Audi S5 Quattro Sportback & Cabro, Typ 8T (3.0 TFSI V6) 2009=> I am based in Newcastle upon Tyne and would prefer this to be collected rather than posted. Hi after some advice please, I believe it's only the B7 model that has the horrible bend down trim tail pipes instead of the strait Ines like all other Audis. now obv o can change the exhaust but wondered if I grind the end angled exhausts things off could I then just slide some after market strait Ines on thanks

Hi i am new to the world of audi , coming from a seat leon (different worlds). I have a 2004 audi a4 2.0 fsi and i noticed a blow starting to come from the exhaust , now gwrting louder . i had a look near the rear of the block just after the first catalytic converter there is a small diameter pipe that comes from the exhaust and goes off somewhere within the engine bay . have seen that this is called the egr connecting pipe my problem is i cant find any listed anywhere for the petrol fsi (non turbo) engine , most are for the tdi variant or the 1.8 turbo . Can any one nudge me in the right direction or shed some light to a possible fix please . love the car and with this sorted would be an awesome machine i can appreciate. Thanks people!

A4 AVANT TDi 143k miles 2002 - sump gone turbo needs replacing cost more to fix than trade in - 4-new types this year and new battery 4 weeks ago. Well looked after car, suspect worth more as parts! If interested i'm open to offers. -
Hi everyone, I've noticed a bit of a rattle when accelerating from low revs. it disappears when revs increase and I can only hear it when the window is down (but it is noticeable). The rattle isn't there when I'm in neutral - its only when accelerating. I'm no mechanic but I would guess its exhaust. has anyone had anything similar?

Hi everyone, first ever post on this site. I bought a 2004 A3 quattro sport 3.2 v6 a month ago. It came with a powerflow exaust which sounds awesome on hard acceleration but between 2 and 3k revs produces god awful droning in the cabin which ive decided I cant live with. The local powerflow garage has said there isnt enough space underneath for anti-resonance pipe-work and suggested that I replace the mid box with an original. Anyone got any experience of this? Can anyone recomend who where to get an original mid section exhaiust for athe v6? Thanks in advance

Hi All, I had my A3 TDI (170) remapped by Viezu about 2 years ago. Love the car but thinking about next steps. obviously everyone mentioned DPF delete but I can't be assed with changing it back. I hear you can get a sports CAT as part of some exhaust systems which increases flow but I find it a struggle to find any for the TDI. Any recommendations? Obviously with the recent law change and the fact they are well strict removing the DPF isn't an option. I hear Miltek is good, I used to have a Mongoose on my ST but wasn't the full system. obviously not sure what else I can add for increased power.
