Hello, looking for a bit of advice and apologies if this topic has come up before. Bought a 67 plate 2 litre quattro avant 3 days ago, drove it 150 miles home not a problem. Went to get fuel later that evening, not a problem. Started it up in the morning and set off to work, got 2 mins down the road and got the flashing coil light and car went limp. Pulled Into a lay by, turned the car off wait a second then back on and fault was gone and car was fine for the rest of the journey and fine home after work. Next day exact same problem and had to do the same thing, again car ran fine. Today, started the car for 10 minutes before leaving and had no issues, took it to a garage and the only faults they could find were sparstic/passive and not really relevant to what's happening. The garage I got the car from said they will pay to repair the fault but I can't find it. Has anyone had experience of this type of fault before? Looking for some guidance really as don't want to reject the car back as in love with it but I can't spend 22k on something that's already got a problem. To me it seems that when the engine is cold something isn't happy. Please help me

Hi all, recently bought a 2005 a4 convertible (1.8t s line), the radio unfortunately doesn’t work and just produces static on all stations. CD player works fine so I have a feeling it’s the antenna. Has anyone had this issue and successfully solved it?

Need some advice please- own a A4 avant B8 S-line 2.7 TDI multitronic. Had gearbox problem so changed that to a second hand part which was installed by my mechanic. The ECU code on gearbox wasn't matching up so was sent to another garage with the software to re-code it. When it came back the Air Bag light had come on. On VagCom code is reading J234 no signal/communication from Air bag ECU. Any advice as to what caused this?

Hi All I am a new member here so firstly thanks for the support. I have a 2.0 TDi Auto Quattro Black Edition (2017). I love my car and have had it for over 3 years now. A few days ago I got a flashing coil light on the dashboard during part of a half hour journey. This did not come back on since then in the 2-3 other journeys I have done. I have an issue with my electric side mirrors that when I try to adjust the mirror downwards it will not function. This fault is on both side mirrors and only the downwards direction is affected as the up, left and right adjustments work. i have a feeling this fault may be to do with the control knob on the door or associated wiring. has anyone had this issue and can offer some advice?

Hi all, ‘I’m new here. Ive got a 2015 1.4tfsi A3. Only done 22000 miles, has run sweet till now. I’m an ex mechanic so I decided to service the car myself and it was a piece of cake; just changed the oil and air filter. Anyway, the car ran fine for a day or so then the other day the yellow EPC light came up on the dash and there is lack of power but runs well, no misfires. I read the codes and it came up with P2279 system air leak. I’d assumed id dislodged an air pipe somewhere but nothing, all looks great. I can’t for the life of me see any obvious issues. When I started the engine after the oil change I did run the engine for a bit without the oil filler cap on, I was wondering if that effected anything maybe? Any ideas anyone? Much appreciated

got ' gearbox malfunction can continue to drive' pop up on my dash, took my car for a diagnostics at audi they couldnt find anything wrong with the car, took it to an independant diagnostics and it came up with 3 codes... sensor for transmission speed 2.... pressure regulator valve clogged/dirty.... clutch activation implausible. spoke to numerous places and they dont seem to know what the problem is. My guess is that theres something wrong on the ECU? if so can i get it repaired or will it be a new ECU? Any help at all please!

Boot could not open without key manually, rear registration bulbs blown, rear fog lights out. All went at the same time, with the lights warnings coming up everytime on start up. Took to car to Auto Electrical in East London. They had it for a couple of hours and fixed the issues in about five hours. Charged me under fifty pounds, It was the boot wiring hinge wiring loom again three wires broken. (Cost me around £60 to fix earlier this year when one wire broke).

I have an A4 b7 Convertible, seems the motor connected to the pump has stopped working, Roof only folds back 1 inch or rear panel lifts 1 inch I have seen on ebay a guy who fully refurbs the motors for about 85 quid, would you say this is the sensible route?

Having issues with my Audi A3 170 BHP 2008 DPF. The DPF light came on a couple of times over the last few months, each time I took it for a blast on the motorway high revs etc and it went off, However over the weekend it has come back on along with the glowplug & engine management light. The car has also gone into limp mode. Reading up on the forums i understand it now needs a forced regen by hooking the car up to VCDS. Is this correct? Does anyone know any place in the Birmingham/ WestMidlands i can do this without having to fork out silly money? Cheers,
