Hello all, New member here! I’ve been looking for a while and found a 2010 Audi A5 2.0 TFSI Q in my budget with the exact specifications I want. 1 owner, excellent milage and great condition. Full Audi SH apart from the last service done by the dealer. I paid for an AA inspection which found an oil leak in the front engine (he said maybe it’s the front cam shaft sensor?). The dealer agreed to get this fixed before I buy the car. Looking at the service history, 30,000 miles ago it seems like Audi did a consumption test as a leak was cleaned and the owner was asked to return after 1000 miles. No other related issues or mentions appear in the history after that, it looks like the owner didn’t go back. So one assumes all was ok and there was no consumption problem? I’m just a little torn as to whether to purchase this car. I really don’t want to find that there is a consumption problem or other issues down the line. The only other things are: There’s only one key so I’d need to buy another. A few diagnostic fault codes came up, though I dont know what they mean. I’ve attached photos of them. All else is perfect and the dealer said he’d give me a year warranty rather than 3 months. Sorry for the long message. I’d really appreciate your opinions and advice please. Thanks in advance.

Hi All, I've run a scan on my "new" Audi A3 and have recovered the following fault codes. I have the Engine Management light on on the dash so I know there is an issue with the engine faults, however I dont want to change evergything! Does anyone have any suggestions as to: 1 - how to work out what the fault codes are exactly (Ross-Tech site wasn't very helpful here and not all the codes give a description!) 2 - Apart from the engine faults, how important are the others? I think I have the most weard list of fault codes now that I have VCDS (VAG-COM) Turns out my abs control module is busted too :( Bosch 0 273 004 284 Brake light works but says switch is faulty, Am 100% sure its related to control module on abs pump Generic fault list.txt

Hey Guys, I've recently had the Emission Control System light on my dashboard turn on and stay lit in my Audi A4 Cabriolet (2004, V6). I've read the fault codes but am not that knowledgable so was hoping you guys knew what I'd have to expect if I were to bring it down to a mechanic. Would be grateful if anybody out there can help me with the fault codes listed and what they mean in relation to repairs and cost. The codes are 01500, 00927, 00878 and 01499. All I know is they are to do with the right side headlights, fog lights and possibly the indicators.
