Hello, has anyone upgraded their 2012-2015 A4 Allroad Tdi Quattro Halogen headlights? Was it easy, what did you install, any part numbers & where did you buy the replacement headlights you installed...Please? I have looked online and conflicting information or not detailed enough, or not sufficient detail, so I would appreciate anyone that has done it to let me know. I am looking for brighter lights and maybe a newer look but more light is key, unless anyone knows what bulbs would be better? -
Hi All, Firstly I wanted to thank anyone participating in this topic. I have recently bought A4 Technik 2011 (CJCB). Seller told me that he installed headlights from SLine. It was not a problem for me as headlights worked fine initially. Then after some time I have realised that I can't adjust light level from cabin but worst part is that I can't use Audi's headlight converter (changes lamp shape from RHD to LHD and vice versa). I did connect VCDS and I am stuck on 55 - Headlight Range module (can't communicate). My question is: Am I missing module for Sline headlights? Or maybe I do have to "code" them in? It's my first Audi and I would appreciate someone's more experienced opinion. Regards, a2tecK.

Hi and thank you for taking the time to look at this. I have an A3 1.6 Tdi 2014. I have replaced the dipped bulbs and one of the main beam bulbs but then my issue started. The main beams are H15 bulbs. The bulb, as you might well know goes in and twist into the power connector but that connector has come away on mine. It seems a real fiddle to clip it back in and believe me I have tried. Can anyone help? Do I need to take the headlight unit out to do it and does anyone have any diagrams on how this is done? I'm capable with a screwdriver and spanner etc but having not done this before I'd like some insight on how it's done. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards Gary

I just bought a 63-plate Q7 SEwhich doesn’t have Xenon headlights or LED DRL, just the standard halogen bulbs and reflectors. The DRL is the same bulb as the main beam. I’m looking to upgrade the lighting, but short of buying a set of new headlight assemblies, what is the recommended ‘plug & play’ upgrade? I’ve checked autobulbs direct and the Halfords website to find out what bulb fitments are for my cat, but they gave different answers, even thought I entered my reg number to find the vehicle. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Hi everyone, The Daytime running light (DRL) that goes all the way round the passenger headlight unit stopped working. When I switch the lights on, the DRL flickers on for a split second and then stays off. I went to a garage and we switched around the LED Light Ballast Control Unit, as that is usually the failure point according to forums. But that was not the issue and the control unit was still working. It seems a waste that I now have to buy a whole headlight replacement unit just because the DRL does not work. Does anyone have any experience in solving this? In the worst case, I am looking to purchase a good condition headlight unit (My part number says 8R0 941 031 D and it is made by Valeo). I cannot find any exact part number matches on Ebay so was wondering if my 2014 would also be compatible with the 2013 to 2016 headlight units which have slightly different part numbers?

I'm trying to get the headlight bulb out of my 2013 S5. I can easily remove the rubber weather cap and the power lead but can't see or feel how the bulb is secured into the mounting. Does anyone have any experience of this?

Hey guys..Thanks for having me :) Just bought an Audi A3 Sportback 2.0 TDI, upgrade from a Mini Cooper (so quite bigger haha) I hate yellow lights,so I put LED h7 front headlights on, but every so often, the left dipped error comes up and the bulbs are working fine!! Any others had the same-any solutions?

Hi, I'm headed to France in a couple of months, does anyone know if there are adjustment levers for RHD headlight settings, or will I need the sticky black plasters? (Standard headlights) Cheers!
