Hello Everyone 👋 I'm hoping I can get some answers/help here , I've not long bought an A4 B8 2.0Tfsi 211hp , it's been having an odd issue with heating , every now and then the heating completely stops working after a couple start ups or if I stop somewhere for like half hour or so after a journey (not every time) at that point no matter what you do the heating doesn't come on , Once it's left to fully cool down so let's say 3-4 hours at least it all goes back to normal , when the heating works it's fantastic , originally thought it's the Heat Exchanger but it just doesn't behave that way to me because it's got no consistency sometime it just doesn't show the issue at all and if it were to be at least partially blocked it wouldn't work as well as it does , I feel like the issue begins as soon as the coolant temp drops slightly (I presume when creating tiny vacuum after it cools slightly ) , I tried many things but I can never replicate it myself , I've put it under a pressure tester to see if there's any visible leaks but I could not find anything even though the needle does move ever so slightly after like 10-20 min , the carpets are all dry and I've seen right under the heater box and I didn't see any residue from coolant , I'm hoping someone has come across this issue before as I can't seem to find a cause Thanks in advance

Hi all, I’ve just bought a B9 2020 Audi A4 S Line 40 TFSI MHEV S Tronic with 32,000 miles on the clock and got myself set up on the MyAudi app. I have also purchased the Audi Connect Remote & Control from the Functions Store. However, I can’t seem to use the features, mainly the option to heat up the car before I even get in. Is there something I’m missing or doing wrong? My door handle sensors also don’t seem to be working, I’m having to lock and unlock the car via the key fob. I’ve gone through settings but nothing clear on there and the sensor just doesn’t seem to work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, any other tips and tricks I should know and recommendations for extra security? Many Thanks

Hi everyone, I am completely new to the forum and really need help and advise. I have an A3 where the heater in the car wouldn’t work. I booked it in for a new matrix. To cut a long story short within a couple of days the matrix emptied the hot water in the passenger footwell after steaming up the windscreen and steam out of the vents. I was recovered and the garage “fixed” it. They claim it was a faulty matrix. Within less than a week it has done the same thing. Now apparently another faulty matrix. What can be done.?? Has anyone come across this before?? please could anyone help me? Is this fixable

Good Evening all, Just putting it out there as I've searched and searched with no luck and would really like to know if any one has had the same issue or has any knowledge of this. I have a 2013 Q7 3.0 TDI is done just over 100k. The car warns me of high engine temp and the gage reads 130'c, i can stop the car then re-start and the gage will go down. The rad pipes feel warm but not overheating temperature (touchable) and there is no leaks of coolant. the fans kick in as normal when the engine left running for a prolonged period and also when the temp warning is active. I have swapped the whole thermostat and housing along with a new water pump and new coolant. The other issue is the heating is very intermittent with temperature. I can hear the heating unit through the dash making noises like a valve/motor operating unsure if this is normal as i expect noise when the heating is being altered and flaps changing and so on but not constantly. Could the heating issue be the sole cause of the engine temp warning or is this something as easy as the temperature sensors being inconsistent and then throwing the heating out? I have read on various threads that the car is fitted with two sensors is this correct? thanks for any help really struggling with this and i have a large drive due next week and don't fancy a journey on a recovery truck!
