  1. I have an Audi A4 2.0 diesel on a 17 plate. had a new timing belt done. Car running perfect. However the following comes on every time. start/stop system fault: function unavailable Driver system fault: contact Workshop. anyone have an ideas what could be causing it? Had an independent garrage plug it in to diagnose it. No fault codes at all.
  2. Hi everyone, I have Audi Q8 2018 and it has an issue with the A/C Flaps. In the last days when the A/C is on there is no air coming from the front vents, but only in from the rear ones. If I stop the A/C, air is coming from front & rear. I have checked my car with obd and got the following issue.B109207 - Recirculation Flap Motor, Mechanical Malfunction. Anyone able to give guide/manual for replacing that part ? Part number: 4M0820511A I have paid for erwin, but unfortunately didn’t find any manual for replacing that part. Thanks in advance.
  3. Hi, First time here so hello and thanks for reading. Yesterday I had a minor disaster occur in the form of a broken oil-line pipe in the transmission which caused all fluid to leak out. At first the dashboard readout said "Gearbox malfunction - continue to drive" .. so I did. Little did I know the transmission fluid was continuing to leak out until there was none left. Obviously I've trashed the gearbox and just wanted some advice really. Has anybody else experienced this? If so, did you take it up with Audi / a dealership and if so, what did they say? The car's done 90K miles, new gearbox fitted at 60K miles. Any and all advice welcome, thanks very much! - Steve

Not even a bit cold when put on LO setting. WTF! car less than a year old and lost all power - limp mode til I got home - sitting in the drive and in shock this just happened to a new car!!!
  5. Hi - relative newby here. I bought my lovely A3 in August and other than having a regular battery fitted so the auto stop/start function doesn't work (for which I got a deal on wheel refurb), it has been trouble free. Recently the battery has been draining to the point I thought the battery was failing, but a basic check has come out ok. I then discovered the alarm was going off. I read that as the battery discharges, various functions shut down to preserve the battery so I think that may have happened with the alarm however recently, when park up at home, within an hour the alarm goes off. I unlock the car and lock it but the alarm goes off again - most times. I've opened doors and then re-locked, but later the hazards come on. I suspect this is why my battery is draining. I thought maybe a spider was in the vehicle and walking over the sensors so I've put a cloth over the dash, but no different. Tonight I read the handbook and checked the diode response. When I lock the car remotely, the diode flashes six times then stays on for 25 seconds or so then flashes normally. The handbook says if it stays on for 30 seconds there is a malfunction. Seems clear to me there is! Anyone got a fix? The car was bought from an independent and is under warranty, but they are unlikely to be able to fix something like this, so I need info before I go back to them. Cheers!
  6. Hi, can someone please help me, new to this.ive got an Audi A4 b8 s line and I was getting the parking brake malfunction visit workshop on the DIS, and when I tried realising the EPB the right caliper would realise but the left wouldn't. Thought it was the caliper so I changed it with another one and it seemed okay for a day. Then the same error had came up and I stuck my vcds on and the issue is 02432 supply voltage for left parking brake motor (v282) 011 - open circuit - MIL ON. Anyone know what it could be I've tried searching for this but I haven't found anything the same. Could it possibly be the wiring harness to the motor?any help is much appreciated.
