I purchased a 2015 Audi A4 B8.5 S-line in Januray this year (2023) and have not had any problems until the past month or so. I've noticed that the MMI has begun freezing, and the only way to get it to work again is to reset the MMI using the three button reset mehod, and even after resetting, the screen will then stay black for a period of time. Sometimes it can take up to 15 minutes for the screen to turn back on. I have tried turning off the ignition, removing the keys and waiting a few minutes when the screen freezes, however the MMI will stay turned on with the frozen screen unless I reset. This does not happen in any particular menu screen. I can be in the radio, media, navigation, or any other menu and it will still freeze. If the radio is on or music is playing from my phone via bluetooth, this will stop playing and the screen will freeze. Pressing any buttons does nothing apart from the 3 button reset method. This can happen 2 minutes after turning the car on, or 30+ minutes into a drive. I have updated my firmware to the latest version (HN+_EU_AU3G_K0942_3) and initially thought this was resolved, however the MMI still freezes. Has anyone else experienced an issue like this, or is there anything more I can check? All I have do so far is update the firmware. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi folks, just after some advice I have a 2008 a6 avant. The mmi has packed in, the initiation screen comes on when I press the power button, but goes off after a couple of seconds. I've heard about water ingress from the rear washer pipe after cold weather usage and I belive this has happend as I used the rear washer on a cold morning and it stopped working the same day. I've had the amp out and the wire block connection has whitefish marks on it. I've have not opend the unit yet though. Can I fix it with a clean or will I need a new amp? Or am I way off base ha ha? Hi all Just bought an A4 convertible with a dodgy roof. Guy has had it sitting for a while and stated that the roof did work before but doesn't now. upon getting the car home the 6 week old battery didn't hold a charge and left me stranded outside the chippy. heres the facts.... 1. central locking doesn't work 2. windows don't work 3. roof is dead 4. interior lights don't work 5. soft top warning keeps saying its not shut Ok, a little faultfinding tonight however I do believe the comfort control module is at fault here with all these issues. 1. the thick red wire going into the pump is getting a constant 12v even when the ignition is off. seems strange to me but I'm not an audi engineer 2. all the fuses are intact 3. replaced battery however I do think there is a draw coming from somewhere to have killed the last battery (thank god for Halfords warranty and an owner that kept receipts) 4. pump looks totally dry (moisture wise) but without a more in depth diagnostic machine we couldn't run it 5. vag com says that fuse 30 was open circuit - could have just us dicking about with it. Are we on the right track here? the comfort control module surely does all these things. I've bought a pump to be belt and braces but these things are around £180 second hand -
I have a 2008 S6 Avant with parking sensors in the front and also in the rear + rear camera. Till yesterday I also had the graphic display working fine and showing when I get close to an object. All of a sudden it stopped working... The rear camera is working and the sensors do give a tone when approaching an obstacle, but I don't get anything on the display. This morning I poked around with the settings in the MMI and saw that the graphic parking was disabled. I enabled it again, but nothing... After restarting the car it was switched off, which leads me to think there might be some fault in the system somewhere. However, with everything else working fine, I don't have a clue where to start checking. Any ideas or suggestions?
