I have just got a q5 2015 se model. It has rear sensors fitted but the mmi option is in grey and not red. Where to start fault finding please.

Dear All this is my first post. I own since less than a month a second hand approved used Audi A4 quattro. I bought in Liverpool. It comes with only rear parking sensors and I want to have the front parking sensor retrofitted with Audi original part from the garage that sold me the car. I have just got an email from the Audi manager telling me that Audi discourage retrofitting, and if I want to go ahead this will affect my warranty. i think that retrofitting an Audi with original Audi parts should not affect my approved used warranty. Do you more expert guy have any advice? I wish to have this piece of kit that will increase the safety of the car. -
Hi all. Can anyone out there tell me, if reverse/parking sensors are not fitted as an option, that the wiring is in the loom as standard - presumably to empty sockets at the rear, around either lamp cluster? Or somewhere else? Thanks.
