  1. Hi all, this is my first forum post so please let me know if I’m doing it all wrong 😂 Can’t anyone help with the following. I’ve recently purchased power folding mirrors for my A3 8V PFL. I understand I need the following for the retrofit: Power folding mirrors New door modules Mirror switch Optic Interior Door handle / window switch surround My original door module part numbers are 5Q0959393 B 5Q0959392 B The configuration part number also has a B at the end. I purchased the following door modules 5Q0959593 B 5Q0959592 B Now… After installing I took it round to my neighbour who has VCDS who was going to code it all in for me. When attempting to code… The drivers side was already showing as coded in, and did fold… BUT…. All of my window switches are backwards. So I wind the window down, it goes up, I tilt the mirror up it goes right and so on. Also my puddle lights not coming on, neither is the little reflective light on the door shuts. I think my alarm has also been disabled (I’m assuming linked to the disable alarm switch also in the door shut). My passenger side wouldn’t let him code, and was throwing up an error saying open circuit. After pulling the mirror back off I found one tiny graze exposing the some wire, which I must’ve caught during the install. So that’s all been repaired now but I’ve not had time to get over to see if it will now allow him to code. I’m confident the passenger side should be good to go now but I’m baffled by the drivers door working backwards. I originally purchased the wrong door module for the drivers side 5Q0959593 E But have now replaced it with the correct module 5Q0959593 B. Is there more to the coding side that needs to be done? Any help or input would be much appreciated.
  2. I changed coil packs and spark plugs but still there is misfire. Esp light came and parking brake fault but gone. Audi A3 2013 1.4tfsi 65k miles
  3. Hey I'm new to this site, I have an Audi A4 B8 2009 2.0 143BHP TDI. I have this idea to see how much power I can achieve by just changing the turbo for a hybrid turbo and a remap my figures are 143bhp to 220bhp. I installed a cone yesterday and bypassed the mass air flow sensor due to the fact the filter wouldn't fit, and the car at first was behaving and boosting considerably and driving fine. I made a 35 minute trip back to my city and then stopped for fuel. Once I had fuelled up, it stopped boosting and I had to reconnect the stock air filter and mass air flow sensor. At this point I haven't cleared the fault code that I ended up getting about a few hours later saying TurboCharger/Supercharger "A" Underboost condition. (P0299). The car was boosting again but then seemed to go into limp mode and flashed glow plug lights at me. I switched engine off and back on and then an hour later I saw that code mentioned above ^ and cleared the code. Gave it another boot and the turbo is working again, seems like a bit of turbo lag but its still boosting, but I'm not sure if the lag is due to the fact I had the cone on their previously and could feel the instant power. Since clearing the code it hasn't come back at all, which is a good sign. The other thing I did, was to derestrict the air filter box so that the flap won't open and close, oddly enough fuel consumption doesn't seem too bad with that being done. I also seem to have a leak on the EGR valve and the car munches oil and It means that I may have to keep topping up every few months. So far, I've topped it once since I bought the car in September but I can see it's going down on the car's computer. Not sure if its EGR Valve leak or the actual silicone pipe. I was advised that getting a metal performance pipe would be better for power and that I may aswell replace it if the silicone pipe is leaking oil. I'm very unsure of where to get any of these things though. Some help would be greatly appreciated. For now the car will hopefully become a sleeper and if the car isn't beyond repair and I can achieve the numbers I stated above, I will then turn it into an RS4 with front end conversion B8.. 🙂 I have big plans for this car.

Hi all This has been an issue I have ignored roughly last six months During a 20 minute, 8 mile drive, three times this morning the car did that random fluctuate power or loss of engine torque for 1-2 seconds at any speed or gear it goes and then comes back and acts as normal again. I prey it's just a simple thing to replace to fix, cheaply and quickly. Any ideas or expert vag/Audi mecanic's I can go to (anywhere within a reasonable distance) I live East of London and I'm usually off Saturdays only. Fyi cars alway been immaculately serviced on time at every interval vehicles required most recently April minor service received.
  5. hi everyone, not been on in a while I changed my clutch yesterday to a smf. after everything back on started no problem. reversed off driveway and headed down the road. there was no power. at a steady speed the whole carstarted to judder quite bad. my question is do I have to have the ecu remapped or something the only other thing I can think of is that I have pulled/broken some wire which is my next check. thanks in advance for any help Ste
