Hello, I have a 2009 3.2L A5 Quattro S-line I am currently stuck with a fault I cannot find any information on at all. I change my battery as the last one finally died and now I have an EPC and Engine Light, as well as none other than one strange fault code in the AUTO HVAC module: 1 Fault Found 01206 - Signal for Duration of Ignition Off Time 008 - Implausible Signal Freeze Frame Fault Status 01101000 Fault Priority 7 Fault Frequency 1 Reset Counter 170 Millage 102156 km Time Indication 0 Date 2009.06.26 Time 00.32.45 Back story My car battery was on its way out, it was an original Audi battery and I could tell it was going because it started to read voltages bellow 12v, and the car was taking longer and longer to start. Yesterday, I started my car once, drove up the road, turn it off for 30 min and then it wouldn’t start but just crank slower and slower each time I tried until eventually it was just clicking. Then curtain electronics started shutting off one by one. We tried to bump start the car down a hill as we didn’t have jump leads but this didn’t work. So I bought a new battery, put it all in, put key in, Coded it on VCDS by changing 1 value on the serial code, thats when I got the EPC light, the engine warning light and this time there was no cracking no starting. That’s when I did the scan and that’s the only fault code that keeps coming up. I tried clearly the codes a couple of times but this didn’t help, I tried a different battery also with no luck. Voltage hasn’t dropped as I’ve been getting 12.3V constantly. All electrics now work fine, When I go to try and start, my dials do the usual sweep and I here an repeated whooshing sound from the rear middle of the car for a couple of seconds and 1 click, from somewhere under the dashboard in the drivers side… and then nothing. Someone said the whooshing sound is probably the pump priming? And that I could have shorted something when I connected up the car? Someone else said it sounds like my instrument cluster is electronically stoping the signal to my starter? I am really not sure what it may be, perhaps a sensor of some kind? I have visually checked all the fuses in all 4 fuses boxes of my car and they look fine, I am not sure where the starter relays are though and don’t have diagrams to tell me which one it is so Idk how to check those. I am really stumped and I can’t find anyone with the same issue as me, I have search many forums but still can’t find anything, but I thought I’d post here just incase there are people who may know what’s happening. Hello, Right now we have an A3 8Y at home, and we're very pleased with it. Now i want to get a car for myself, second-hand, and one of the options is of course an B8 A4. I was wondering what the things are to look out for. Are there certain flaws and common problems i need to look out for? Many thanks for the advice! Kind regards

Hi all, this is my first forum post so please let me know if I’m doing it all wrong 😂 Can’t anyone help with the following. I’ve recently purchased power folding mirrors for my A3 8V PFL. I understand I need the following for the retrofit: Power folding mirrors New door modules Mirror switch Optic Interior Door handle / window switch surround My original door module part numbers are 5Q0959393 B 5Q0959392 B The configuration part number also has a B at the end. I purchased the following door modules 5Q0959593 B 5Q0959592 B Now… After installing I took it round to my neighbour who has VCDS who was going to code it all in for me. When attempting to code… The drivers side was already showing as coded in, and did fold… BUT…. All of my window switches are backwards. So I wind the window down, it goes up, I tilt the mirror up it goes right and so on. Also my puddle lights not coming on, neither is the little reflective light on the door shuts. I think my alarm has also been disabled (I’m assuming linked to the disable alarm switch also in the door shut). My passenger side wouldn’t let him code, and was throwing up an error saying open circuit. After pulling the mirror back off I found one tiny graze exposing the some wire, which I must’ve caught during the install. So that’s all been repaired now but I’ve not had time to get over to see if it will now allow him to code. I’m confident the passenger side should be good to go now but I’m baffled by the drivers door working backwards. I originally purchased the wrong door module for the drivers side 5Q0959593 E But have now replaced it with the correct module 5Q0959593 B. Is there more to the coding side that needs to be done? Any help or input would be much appreciated.

Any one come across a problem with the heated seat on the super sports seat? The red light that indicates the heated seat is on flickers on for a second then completely turns off. If I try pressing the button again no lights will come on however if I turn the car off and back on then the button will flicker again. Element, relays?? Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

Hi all, I am registering to raise awareness to potential owners of the new AUDI A3. If you have the 35TFSI Edition 1. Please make sure you watch this video first. A lot of the cars have come without electric seats and they were supposed to and Audi are being quiet and dismissive about the issue often rejecting it as an issue all together. https://youtu.be/kcnviaI6_Iw I hope this helps someone. I have a 2008 S6 Avant with parking sensors in the front and also in the rear + rear camera. Till yesterday I also had the graphic display working fine and showing when I get close to an object. All of a sudden it stopped working... The rear camera is working and the sensors do give a tone when approaching an obstacle, but I don't get anything on the display. This morning I poked around with the settings in the MMI and saw that the graphic parking was disabled. I enabled it again, but nothing... After restarting the car it was switched off, which leads me to think there might be some fault in the system somewhere. However, with everything else working fine, I don't have a clue where to start checking. Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi there guys :) Another problem with my lovely shed :) Multitronic gearbox was working fine ish. I drove the car for a while with PRNDS flashing, when it got cold the connection with TCM seemed to fix itself temporarily (and it would drive perfectly fine until I turn the engine off). What happened tonight kind of puzzled me - after I slowed down to let a car go through, while pressing the accelerator the car shook quite wildly actually, and it felt like the gearbox was kicked into neutral. She's done it once before, but all I had to do is literally stop and shift through the gears (to Park then back to Drive) and it went off fine. This time however I managed to roll it to a bus stop, and she just lost all drive. Gearbox is locked when in Park, however Drive, Sport, Reverse and in the manual shift mode it feels like it's in neutral. When I shift it into R it gives me a little nudge (always used to do that when going into R, this time the nudge is weaker though), but she isn't moving at all back or forth. I am going to try and plug it into VAGCOM when I finish work, but in the meantime I have two questions: 1. Has anyone ever had this kind of an issue and what could it be? 2. If i was to buy another multitronic box could I sort of DIY fit it in myself on axle stands? Any help would be greatly appreciated guys, I'm kind of in a dot right now...

Hello, Most of the time all of my parking sensors work, however, I keep getting this issue where my front sensors do not work, and this can last for some days. The most annoying problem though, is that my car alerts me every minute that it isn't working, and the parking sensor button flashes, as well as a horrible high pitched noise. This is both while I am driving and/or still. I would love if someone can help me rectify the issue and all help is appreciated. Best, Elliott

Hi I'm a new member and a owner of a Audi S8 D3. I'm a die hard Audi fan and have been for years or even decades. I needed some advise and thought this would be the ultimate place to share my problems with. Lol🤗 So where do I start. I purchased this car a while ago as a project and have now started to look into it. It's been stood since 2007 and has covered around 5thousand miles. 5k. The previous owner had it parked for 10years as it had an electrical fault and some damage which was caused in 2007. After reading on various websites, Ive concluded the steering column to be faulty as vcds is showing steering lock actuator n360 open circuit fault leading me to believe it needs a column. The car accepts the key but there is no ignition lights on the dash. Hopefully when I've sorted this problem I will have to start it at some point. What would be the best procedure. I have already dismantled the front end hoping to crank it by hand for the first few revolutions what should i do as I don't know the state of the engine. If it's seized etc. I don't want to damage what could potentially be my car i keep for life. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi everyone, Iv just bought a W reg A4 avant 1.9tdi, I must say the car is great, however i have had an issue with the car juddering when I put my foot down hard enough. If i accelerate gradually there is no problem at all, it revs beautifully and can get to a decent speed. When I, for example, accelerate hard out of a roundabout in a lower gear it can judder violently, this stops as soon as i lay off the throttle slightly but it returns whenever I quickly put my foot hard down on the accelerator. Iv also noticed a rough/ lumpy tick over that is intermittent. Iv bought a new fuel filter and a diesel system cleaner that I will use in the coming days. Just wondering if any of you lot might know cause of this issue? many Thanks!!

This is probably already on here somewhere but my Audi A3 SE 09 plate will only unlock with the key & not remotely with the fob. The passenger side door occasionally has this problem also. Any ideas on what the problem is & anyone who could fix it in the midlands area if its a big job ?? Cheers guys

Hi guys, Just wondering whos the best for remaps in the UK ?? Like im seeing some companys promise ridiculous amounts of BHP on a stage one where as other companys will promise half that on a stage 2 ? My cars a 1.4 TFSI petrol if that makes any difference. Many thanks, Reece :)

checked re gassing, put pressure Guage on started engine ect put on low temp but guage is reading 55psi so no gas required according to chart so there is another fault can anyone help,
