Hi fellow Audi A2 aficionados, I’m thrilled to join this fantastic Audi community! I’ve recently been given permanent access to a 2005 Audi A2 and am eager to upgrade its media and audio system to a modern, touch-screen or voice-controlled Android-based multimedia unit. I’m specifically looking for a head unit (preferably with Apple CarPlay integration) that fits into a single-DIN slot, potentially with a floating or retractable screen, and includes features such as satellite radio, navigation, Bluetooth and wireless connectivity, parking cameras, and other advanced multimedia capabilities. If anyone has experience retrofitting modern head units into the A2 or can recommend the best models for seamless integration, I’d greatly appreciate your insights or first-hand experience. Your expertise would be invaluable as I navigate this upgrade, so please share any tips, advice, or recommendations. Thank you, and I look forward to connecting with you all! Hi everyone, I've just bought my first car and I stupidly forgot to check that the radio worked correctly. ☹️ The radio will turn on but none of the buttons work, e.g. to change the station, or to access AUX. Does anyone know what the issue might be and how to fix it? Should I replace the whole radio? Thanks, Elena

HI all, sorry if this question has been asked before but could not find it in previous forums. My dad has a 2.0 TDi 2016 (66 plate) the past few weeks now whenever he starts the car (either if engine is cold or warm) the MMI system will not come on, regardless if he presses the on button on the dash. The only way so far he has managed to fix it is pull out the relevant fuse in the boot. He mentioned this to Audi yesterday as it was going in for its MOT. They had a look (not sure what that intales) and they could find nothing, their next steps was for them to look at wiring if he was to give it back to them. The car has less than 30K on the clock, does about 30 miles a week. Car has never had a problem until now. The MMI is also as upto date has it can be. Any suggestions or ideas? I know this problem can be aimed at any of the Audi range. Thanks for reading and helping! Gregor

Hi Guys, Needing some help/advice on a DAB issue on my 2013 A3 which has the satnav style MMI and a standard sharkfin style aerial. Was all working fine until one day there was no DAB signal for days which was very unusual in my area which is always good. After trying alsorts and resetting the radio within the settings the DAB doesn't even show now in the waveband options. I also very very occasionally get a frozen satnav which may or may not be linked. I have nothing plugged into lighter sockets or have additional satnav or dashcam etc. Can anyone advice on options other than spending £130 on an Audi diagnostic. Many thanks in advance.

Hi, This is my first post here. for almost two years now I've had no reception whatsoever on my Concert2+. Done a VCDS and got this Address 56: Radio Labels: 8J0-035-1xx-56.clb Part No SW: 8P0 035 186 G HW: 8P0 035 186 G Component: R Concert2+ H15 0220 Revision: 00H15000 Serial number: AUZ1Z3G9070097 Coding: 0010011 Shop #: WSC 06314 000 00000 VCID: 3620C36F412C099A25E-8062 1 Fault Found: 00821 - Antenna 2 for Radio (R93) 007 - Short to Ground - Intermittent Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 00100111 Fault Priority: 5 Fault Frequency: 1 Reset counter: 186 Mileage: 125775 km Time Indication: 0 Date: 2016.06.11 Time: 10:27:41 I've tried replacing the 8P4.035.225.C connector/amp at the top of the rear windscreen. I've tried checking fuses, I've taken the radio out, dismantled it and left it disconnected for two days and plugged it back in. No change. Also there's a CD stuck in it which it just gives me 'CD ERROR' on. Keen to get this fixed asap as I need to sell the car (3 kids = no more A3) Anybody have any thoughts?

Do I need to buy a bluetooth eBay device or fit and aux in or should i dump it at Audi get charged prob £400 and get them to sort it.. so i can sing along to bieber once again. Hello, I own an audi a3 2006 with a double din concert radio system (i have no aux, blue tooth or cd changer), it seems that there's an adapter for other concert radios but every one i find online either has different newer iso blocks or a different wiring set-up. Is there an adapter out there that i can use on this wiring set-up or do i have to spend an arm and a leg on a new radio system.

I am about to upgrade my radio and expect the old one to stay in the attic till I sell the car. I never got the code. If I do this I'm sure it will be dead when I put it back in, so how to I get the code from my live one please?

Hello, I am a new Audi owner - or at least the new owner of a very old Auld TT - and am a bit clueless about obtaining the "safe" code for the radio. The code has been lost to the ages long ago, and there is no way I can track it down from a previous owner. I've done a lot of online research, and I know each radio is unique and has an individual code. I also know that the serial number on the radio is required to search for the code at a dealer. My question is where to get this search done? I have contacted several dealers, and their quotes range from a reasonable £15 (reasonable I suppose, although I disagree that an anti-theft device should be something used to make a profit) to a ridiculous £85! I see there are several online services that offer to provide a code if you provide the serial number, but I am weary if these actually work - they seem to be around £10. I'm sure this is an old and hackneyed topic, and I apologise if it is, but I am exhausted with online searches and just need some straightforward advice. Many thanks.

I have a 2010 Audi A3 S-Line with the Audi Concert II+ 2-DIN head unit recently installed to replace the old head unit of the same model and the standard fitted AUX input near the cigarette lighter. (See attached images) It doesn't seem to me like the AUX input is working. I'm not sure if there is a cryptic way to change source, if so what would this be? With it being a standard fitted AUX input I would have assumed this would be pre-wired into the wire cluster therefore would just be plug and play? If anyone could shed any light on this that would be helpful. Cheers! :)

Hi, I have recently bought a 2004 A4 Avant. The car is fitted with the bose sound system and have a single slot CD player with radio. My question to you guys is, am i able to fit Audi's sat nav system straight in? I just feel like the gap that will be left once i remove the current system won't be large enough to accommodate the new. I hope that this all makes sense and would really appreciate an answer, with suggestions if it is an issue but there are ways around. Cheers in advance Charlie
