Hey, i recently picked up a 2008 A6 estate. The car has been running immaculately well for its age and mileage. However i have recieved the dreaded EML, the code is the P0405 code. This relates to the EGR sensor. This is causing the ECU to not know how open or closed the egr valve is and its giving me intermittent loss of power when trying to accelerate. I am getting the car remapped to bypass the EGR, this should solve the problem, but i wanted to know wether i would also need to blank it off? I have the 2.0TDI 140 Thank you.

Hi everyone, I am new both to this forum and Audi. I recently purchased a 2015 SQ5 and wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations for remapping suppliers. On my previous two cars (non Audi) I used DMS Automotive which i was happy with however they are a little on the pricey side. Any suggestions? Many thanks, Kapil

This Burger MotorSports JB4 is a plug and play box which enables a driver to adjust fuel maps on the fly for massive power gains. The default Map 1 will introduce a massive 45BHP gain - you can then use the included Bluetooth adapter to change maps on the fly using a mobile device for even more power gains. Have just brought a stage 2 S3 8v with a pops and bangs remap, and miltech exhaust, but it’s way too loud. Anyone have any ideas other than a new remap, to quieten her down a bit? Thanks in advance

Hello, Reading up on the A4 B8 2023 177bhp black edition TDI 2.0 fuel economy, worth doing a remap to increase economy, worth doing? Any one else already done it? Thanks in advance!

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has used a tuning box or Pedal box on a 1.0 litre TFSI engine at all? would this engine even be able to take it? I know a remap would be better but I don't want to void the warranty. Any comments/ experiences?

Hi all I'm looking into buying an Audi A3/S3 2.0tfsi quattro, 5 door, from around the 2008 mark. I'm planning on tastefully modding and remapping this car and have heard you can reap 310bhp+- from them without any heavy modifications. Looking on auto trader, I've noticed that there seems to be a variation on the power outputs, from what looks to me to be the same engine. So finally, my question is - are the 2.0 tfsi engines in the A3 (200bhp) , A3 - s line (197bhp) , and S3 (263bhp), all the same, meaning they'd produce the same output with a remap? Here are the two I've been looking at: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202006270572159?atmobcid=soc3 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202006290636074?atmobcid=soc3 Thanks for your time! Hi guys/gals. New member here. Just picked up a 66 plate 2l A3 148bhp. I'm looking at a stage 1 remap. Car has recently been serviced and is an awesome drive. However I'm looking to unlock a bit more power and pull. I've spoken to a local to me Revo guy and had a quote of £480, I'm also considering adding the Revo switch. Estimated figures read the same as quoted on the Revo website. I've also spoken to an APR guy who's not so local, considerably cheaper and the figures are roughly the same. So my question is, what are your guys/gals opinions on the two companies? Please and thankyou 😊. Dom

I’m planning to remap my Audi A3 2.0 TDI 8P and also at some point install a K&N Induction Kit. I was wondering if anybody could give me advice on whether there’s any benefits of installing these in a particular order? (i.e. remap then induction kit or induction kit then remap)? Or does it even matter at all? thanks in advance.

Hi All, I have been enquiringly about remapping my A5 3.0 tdi and keep getting conflicting advice. 2 garages and a few online posts have said the 2013 (facelift) is so electrically reliant, a remap will cause many errors, and others have said the 3.0 V6 is a strong reliable engine capable of handling a small stage 1 remap. Has anyone done this and did you have any issues? Thanks

Hi All, I ran my car on a dyno yesterday and was presented with some pretty interesting results. I am pretty annoyed, but also curious as to what I can do about it (if anything). I have an Audi A3 (2010) 2.0 TDI - 170bhp, which I had remapped around 2 years ago with Viezu tuning. I also have a few other mods (Miltek, BMC filter etc) but they do very little in terms of performance gains. So long story short, I took my car for a service around 2 months ago to my local audi dealer and when i got the car back it felt pretty slow again, not awful, but not great. Took my car to the Dyno and low and behold, i am back to 170 (Stock) with a pretty awful looking Dyno run (Not very smooth at all). Now i am no expert so i wanted to make sure the Dyno results were correct and I also need to understand what I can do in regards to Audi giving me some money for writing over my map. Please note, everything i take it in, i tell them not to do a software update, so they have either done it without telling me or even worse they have applied the emissions fix to my car which I have opted out of on a number of occassions. Can someone confirm, would a software update overwrite the map? And what is the best way forward? The company i took my car to were pretty decent they offered me a new map and dyno for £350, apparently they write there own maps from scratch and also sell maps to other providers. I was quoted around 210-215bhp other maps are quoting me around 225. Thanks P.s Dyno results attached.

Right, i know loads of people ask about tuning the 1.8 20v turbos but I'll ask anyway. I want to fit a bigger, side mount intercooler to directly replace the standard one. Can i do this before remapping or will the engine suffer by not being tuned with it, say if i do the intercooler a couple of months before any ECU work? Does that make sense?

Hi all I have just purchased an Audi 2.7 tdi s line multitronic with 70k on the clock and I have a few questions to ask 1: what are they like to remap. Never had a car remapped before but expected a little more of a 2.7 v6 2: can the individual led lights in the tail gate be replace I've just bought one side now the other one has gone 3.back to the first one really will a remap mess around with the multitronic gear box? I don't want to damage the car really

First one was a 2005 A6 3.0TDI SE Manual and now i currently have a 2006 3.0TDI S Line LeMans Auto. The gearbox in the manual was shockingly bad so went for a auto. So far on the LeMans I have had a remap, 4 new Uniroyal Rainsport 3's and they are so sticky it's amazing. Changed the whole character of the car. Took it round the Nurburgring so put a sticker on the back ;) I've just ordered a RS6 Style honeycomb grill but without the RS6 badge. Windows are Tinted and I want to get the lights smoked too. I have also ordered a big Quattro badge for the bottom of the grill. It's all debadged from new except the two main Audi badges. I'm after a Milltek exhaust and anything else to get some more power gains . . . If you have any ideas please tell me
