Hi, I've changed my Audi A3 (2013 1.4 TFSI 8V) steering wheel. My issue is that my buttons aren't working. I'm just wondering, is this something I can fix or does it have to be like this? The steering wheel was changed from the Audi A3 normal steering wheel with shield air bag, and all MMI buttons (star, navigation, music up and down, phone) to the 2018 MF flat line S-Line steering wheel. Any help would be much appreciated!

Afternoon all, I've recently purchased an Audi A6. There are a few cuts/ dents on the large aluminium ring on the steering wheel. I bought it hoping I could repair it later on down the line. Im struggling to find any good methods to do so. Would really appreciate if anyone could lead me in the right or best direction to get these defects repaired. I know there are some gurus out there who may be able to help me out! Please feel free to comment. Cheers, Jason.

Hi all, my heated steering wheel isn't very warm at all and with winter approaching I was wondering if it can be adjusted somehow - obviously there are no standard control options for it but assuming someone can use one of the swanky leads and adjust it? I asked the dealer and they said they could investigate the issue (!) and charge me by the hour for it.... errrr no thanks! Google throws up a bunch of posts - some more vague than others, some saying that it could be a faulty steering wheel or that actually its not hot just slightly warm.... compared to my Jag, Merc and other cars with heated wheels its very luke warm and cuts out really quickly... anyone else any views, thoughts or magic fixes?

Hi all, New to the forum so please be kind. My wife has managed to scratch the heck out of the centre steering wheel badge / airbag surrounding on her Audi A3 2007 and it's driving me mad. (See pics). (Don't ask how... Handbag, rings.. God knows!) I've looked at numerous forums but can't find the exact answer I'm looking for! I'm reluctant to take it to the Audi dealer, so wonder if there is a DIY I can either replace myself or spray the surround silver if I can remove it? The question is, can it be removed easily? I read on some forums it can be popped out with a credit card but I've tried this and don't want to push too far in case I damage the airbag. I may be being a little too gentle.. Any help much appreciated, has anyone had a similar issue?! What would people advise? Cheers, Rich

Hi people of the forum I am looking to replace my steering wheel with an aftermarket 1, momo or something like that, but from what I have read so far on the net I get the impression that if I am to replace the steering wheel it will disable ALL of the airbags in the car, does anybody know if this is definately the case, or is there a way of just disabling the drivers airbag and leaving the rest of the system functional? Also, by changing the steering wheel and disabling the drivers airbag, am I going to be left with the airbag warning light on with no way of turning it off? If anybody knows of a way of disabling just the drivers airbag in a way that doesn't leave me with an airbag light being stuck on I would muchly appreciate your input. Thanks in advance
