Hi there, Im hoping someone can help me with how to install an amplifier / subwoofer into my new Audi A5. There is lots of information on here already, but I can't seem to find any example which fits exactly how my car seems to be setup - if you can even just point me in the direction of a relevant existing post, that would be great. My car is a '17 Audi A5 B9 Coupe 2.0 TFSI Quattro S-line with tech pack, no B&O sound system, bought in the UK. I believe it has Audi Sound System (missing subwoofer control, which is a whole other story I'm told...). My stock subwoofer seems to be behind the rear seats, mounted in the plastic under the glass (the bottom is visible from the boot), but I see that most people How best would I install a Kenwood space-saving amp/sub? I realise the battery is in the boot which is helpful, but I don't know how best to tap into the existing audio source. I already have all the kit, including Kenwood sub, high / low converter, pry tools, all required cables etc. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Billy

Hi all, First post so any help would be appreciated. I'm wondering if I can install a sub using the current head unit in my A3, i've attached photos of how it looks. It's not actually a stereo, but my SD card slot and cd player is in the glove box. The question is; Does the current set up support the cables needed for a subwoofer? Thanks in advance. Frankinstyyn

Hi As I have no spare wheel / collapsible or normal sized, what’s the best thing to do if I have a puncture? 1. Have the foam that solidifies in the tyre? 2. Pre fill the tyres with a liquid sealant like ‘ride on’? 3. A puncture repair kit where you make the hole bigger and plug it with a rubber bung? 4. R.A.C to tow me home - or 5. Get a collapsible wheel from Audi for £175 and keep it in the boot space? all suggestions from anyone would be appreciated. Cheers

Hello, New to the forum and new to Audi :) So I've had my A3 which is my first car for just over a year and now I'm looking to improve it. My A3 isn't the Bose version so the first thing I would like to do is completely replace the sound system. I have been looking at the Sony XAV-AX100 as a potential new head unit but apart from what I like I know nothing about the parts that I will need. My initial budget is around £900 but I could be convinced to up that if it'll be worth it. I had been looking at Sony speakers simply so that everything would match but I don't have a clue if they will be good. I also would like to avoid a massive sub woofer in the boot if possible. I prefer quality audio (Not a bass head) so if there is one hidden somewhere in the car that i can replace then great but I'm thinking the most likely thing for me is a sub under the passenger seat. I don't have much of a clue so any help is greatly appreciated :D Many Thanks, Tom

Hi all I've read on multiple forums about upgrading A7 sub and adding an amp to power it. I have the standard Audi speakers (no Bose, no B&O). I know what I need but does anyone know how to install? I know about the OEM sub woofer area is very small, just want to know about how to wire to get power and music feed. thanks
