I have audi Q7. Love it. I want to know if this model has an inbuilt GPS tracker in it. Because i want to install one in it if it doesnt have. My son is driving it now. I am going to purchase one from https://www.paj-gps.com/ company. Seems like they have lot of good choices and easy to use trackers. What do you think? -

Hi everyone - I have just picked up my Q5 18 plate. It was a stock car with tech pack. Unfortunately, the dealer the Audi dealer i bought from hasnt bothered to come back on below questions therefore any advice would be appreciated: How can I check if I have keyless (Smart) access? Does the car come with a Tracker (for insurance purposes)? Coming from a Lexus NX 300h F-Sport i had both, and I just assumed for a car worth £46,000 it would come with both the above too. Does anyone have the cat6 tracker fitted and use the app? i can’t get my trips to display but it will alert me when the car enters or leaves a defined area I place around the car (geofence I think) via the app. Ive reloaded the app 3 times and it still doesn’t show the journeys taken. I want to have it live before I drop the car off at the dealer to have some bits added - so I can see if they take it for a spin without my approval! The tracking company just keep saying delete and reload the app not much help there! cheers

Hi, I’m new here but not new to Audi. I like cars and always have but I know virtually zero about anything technical. I can only just top up the oil and even that can be a challenge. I’ve been driving an Audi A4 Cabriolet for 10 years and I've just bought, (but yet to actually get hold of) an almost new A3 Cabriolet. I’d like to get a tracker put on it and the Audi main dealer can do it but I’d like to know if it’s something I could/should do myself? Any recommendations. I’d also like to get a rear view camera (I’m 66 and have a stiff back) but the main dealer won’t fit it. I stretched myself a little with the car and I’m not wild about the Audi main dealer style prices so wonder if this is a common and easy fix too? Thank you.
