  1. Hi all, hope you're well So, I've recently made a few pretty long journeys with 3/4 people, and hit a few nasty potholes. I was filling up and just thought I should probably fill the tyre pressure too (it's not been filled since I got the car at about the turn of the year, and I'm no expert, but even to me it looked really low yesterday). On my previous cars, the PSI was always 30-35, so I assumed it would be for this too. However, the pump started beeping at me at 26 for the front tyres, and about 20-22 for the rears. Also, the pressure was pretty much already full, I don't think I held the pump to the tyre for more than 1-2 seconds before it beeped at me, so I stopped in case I ended up deflating them. So, to summarise, the pressure seems low and hasn't been affected by months of driving. Both of these things seem odd, has anybody had similar experiences? It's a 57 plate s-line if that's any help.
  2. Hi All, I collected my new Q5 ten days ago. It’s a 2.0 TDI 190ps Stronic, as I was doing my first long drive yesterday on motorway TPMS warning came on. I was about 80 miles in to the journey. So I went to check the tyre pressure after it was parked for few hours to reinflate. Just wondering what is the right tyre pressure for this car please as I found out dealer filled all tyres to 50psi. Looking at manufacturers instructions it’s 38psi on full load (I could be wrong though) Also it’s bit bizarre that tyre pressure dropped with in a short time or not sure if weather conditions had anything to do with it. It was -2c on motorway when I was driving. Thanks in advance
  3. Hey guys, newbie here. Had my A4 technik edition 4 months and loving it! I have to clarify one thing though. What is the recommended tyre pressure for my model? I have read the manual but can find it a bit convoluted. I have found the past couple of weeks the car to lose handling slightly. I want to make sure I have the right pressure before I investigate further. Cheers guys!
