Hi all, Relative newbie here just trying to find my way so apologies if this is posted in the wrong place. I've been hunting across various forums for a solution to the 'what space saver actually fits in the wheel well of my Mk2 TT' question and just wanted to pass on my findings. I know it's been discussed on various threads before but I thought I'd clump all the relative information in one place for a newbie reference and also for your feedback to whether this is the best solution. Any draw backs to using this approach etc? So my understanding is use a : Space saver from mk5 Golf GTI VW Part Number : 1K0601027B 125/70r/18 Tyre - Stud Centred 67mm -------- I have included a handy video for installation below. https://youtu.be/JlVs0lanUrE -------- Any feed back or additional tips would be greatly appreciated. Stay safe and happy, Luke 😎👍

Hello everyone. I have a 2017 8V S3, with a 2.0 TFSI engine. I've ordered some aftermarket wheels, which I know the factory lugs aren't going to fit. Diameter of the head on the OEM bolts is too big. Knowing that I should purchase a set of longer bolts or convert to a wheel stud conversion kit. There are three advantages of stud conversion: 1.They offer an easy way to align the wheel when mounting; 2.They allow for the safe use of different thickness wheel spacers; 3.It is compatible with both ball and conical seat lug nuts, which is suitable for most factory or aftermarket wheels. (Quoted from: why-use-stud-conversion-kit-instead-of-wheel-bolts ) Compared to buying a new set of bolts, stud conversion seems to a better choice. It is easier for wheel mounting. I have already get annoyed of these bolts. Thinking the studs should solve the problem.

Good evening all, A newbie to the forum with a question. I have the opportunity to buy some 18x9J ET54 wheels and wondering if I'm going to run into any issues running them? Probably run a 235/40 tyre Just slightly concerned with the width. Is anyone running something similar? Thanks in advance!
